Agency EIS Filings

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is responsible for receiving and reviewing EISs prepared by the Federal agencies.

Agency Jurisdiction and Special Expertise

The lead agency for a NEPA review may designate any Federal, State, Tribal, or local agency that has jurisdiction by law or special expertise with respect to any environmental impact as a cooperating agency.
